Mission of Hope is proud to announce its support of the Department of Sport and Recreation who have now been running the WimSwim initiative for a number of years for both sport and leisure.
In order for this culturally appropriate program for women to continue, we need to support these programmes and encourage Muslim women to attend.

WimSWIM - Women only swimming program

Water confidence is important for everyone. Knowing how to swim opens up a whole new world of aquatic fun - which is so much a part of the Australian way of life. And it is a skill that might just save a life.
NSW Sport and Recreation's WimSWIM program is open to women and girls of all ages and offers intensive learn to swim classes or leisure swimming time.
WimSWIM features:
* An all female environment
* Female AUSTSWIM qualified swimming instructors
* Female lifeguards
* Private, enclosed swimming venues
* Girls and women aged 4½ years upwards
TERM 2 ENROLMENTS NOW OPEN
WimSWIM is being conducted during Term 2 at Roselands and Peakhurst West. There are eight weekly classes starting Sunday 6 May, 2007.
