About AMAL Street Outreach
AMAL Street Outreach will see a dedicated team of trained volunteers heading into the streets of Canterbury-Bankstown and the Auburn areas targeting 'At-Risk' youth. Our aim is to be a point of intervention to help this target group who are experiencing social and personal issues, in an empathetic, goal-directed, and culturally-appropriate way.
The event also seeks to bridge relationships between local police and the Muslim community.
No children under 12 years of age.
