Anger Management for Women
- A Mental Health Initiative of Mission of Hope -
Mission of Hope (MoH) is trialling an Anger Management Program (AMP) for Women’s Program as part of its Mental Health Portfolio. All MoH programs are tailored to meet the cultural and religious values of the Islamic faith while incorporating evidence-based tools adopted from modern psychological and medical literature.
By attending the AMP you will learn:
- Prophetic Traditions and other Islamic sources in understanding and eliminating anger
- The roles of anger and conflict in day to day interactions at home, at work, and in social environments
- What makes one erupt in intimate relationships, on the road, on the job with co-workers, or when dealing with people who are irritable
- The psychology of anger and its maintaining behaviours/consequences
- How to remain “cool and calm” under pressure
- Strategies and techniques to eliminate anger
- Relaxation tools
Only 15 participants will be accepted into the 10-week program.
