Eid Gift Drive

Eid Gift Drive

Now in it’s 9th year, Mission of Hope collects gifts from the community during Ramadan to re-deliver these gifts back to hospitals, asylum seekers, foster care children, the elderly, and more.

Requests from Organisations, Businesses and schools:

We are asking organisations to participate in this program to help us make the upcoming Eid for Muslim children a pleasant and memorable one. We require from your organisation a list of children who you would like to nominate as recipients of these gifts. Simply provide us with a list of children and inform us of ONLY their Age and Gender. We don't require names of children for privacy reasons. Target group for gift recipients include children who are:

-        At Westmead Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick

-        At The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne

-        At Childcare centre that mind at risk children

-        Asylum seekers

-        Have special Needs (eg disability) or are chronically ill

-        Of poor families/Economically disadvantaged

-        Have parents in detention centres or jail

-        Carers of sick/mentally ill parents

-        In single parent households

-        In respite or refuge

This list is then advertised to the Muslim community and our volunteers will deliver the gifts to nominated drop-off points. Mission of Hope will then pick up these gifts to have them reallocated back to eligible recipients.

If you would like to send money for the Eid Drive Committee to purchase the gift for you, please send your donations to:
