A gathering of the finest of Australia’s Muslims community witnessed a celebration of remarkable accomplishments and success at the Australian Muslim Achievement Awards (AMAA) 2012 held in Melbourne on the weekend, Muslimvillage.com reports. The awards, organised by Mission of Hope and now in their seventh year, are more than just a celebration of the ‘who’s who’ in the Australian Muslim Community.
AMAA 2012 winners have been announced at the annual awards ceremony in Melbourne.
Mission of Hope will be sponsoring the screening of ‘Boundless Plains’ on Saturday, 17 November. The film follows four men who travel across the vast Australian continent in order to discover Australian Muslim history.
Nominations for the annual Australian Muslim Achievement Awards for 2012 are now closed, with judges currently in the process of voting.
